Three-Day International Summer School 2026
Magnetic Sensing: New Developments and Advancements

September 9 - 11, 2026 | Kiel, Germany
The International Summer School focuses on magnetic sensing and integrates fundamental concepts, state-of-the-art research, and emerging applications in biomedical and biological contexts. It is designed for STEM students and early-career researchers with backgrounds in physics, engineering, materials science, medicine, and related disciplines.
Fees and Funding
For authors of accepted abstracts who will present their work at the summer school (poster presentations), there is no participation fee for the summer school. The CRC 1261 will cover the scientific program, lunches, coffee breaks, and networking activities.
Additionally, accepted authors will have their accommodation in a city-center hotel during the summer school fully covered. Travel to and from Kiel is the responsibility of the participants and must be self-funded; however, a limited number of travel scholarships will be available.
