Retreat - March 2026
Location
The retreat takes place at the "Akademie Sankelmark". We will go there by car and TF/CAU vehicles. The address and a map can be found here.
Date
The retreat will take place from Thursday, 19.03.2026, till Friday, 20.03.2026.

Poster Presentations
Based on your feedback from previous retreats, we will have four (slightly shorter) poster sessions this time. All projects are expected to prepare a poster and a short teaser presentation.
If you would like to request a specific day or session for your poster, please contact Mona.
There will be sufficient poster walls to display all posters for the full duration of the retreat. This way, you can also have a look at the posters during coffee breaks etc. Posters belonging to the current poster session will be clearly marked to ensure they are easily identifiable.
Teaser talks
Short teaser talks will be presented at the start of each poster session (up to three slides, maximum of three minutes). Please avoid overloading the teaser talks with detailed information. Instead, provide a concise overview and focus on generating interest in your poster, for example by asking for ideas on a problem that you are currently working on.
To save time, the slides will be collected in one single powerpoint file for each poster session. Please push your files to our CRC events GIT repository or send them to Mona via email.
Poster Template
A poster template will be provided. You can fill out all sections of the poster template as you wish, but please keep the progress table and the publication list, and add your project-specific content. If more than one person/group is involved in a project, multiple posters or teaser talks can be created — but that’s optional.
Poster Print Service
As usual, we will offer a print service for the retreat posters.
If you want to use the print service, please place your print ready and proper scaled PDF file (Format A0 1189 mm x 841 mm, landscape) to our CRC events GIT repository. If you have problems accessing the GIT folder, you can also send your PDF file to Mona via email. All PDFs submitted until Tuesday, March 17, 12:00 pm will be printed. Other data files (e.g. pptx) cannot be considered, because they are not accepted by the print company. The posters will be printed on Enviro top 150 Recycling paper (A0, landscape). After the posters are printed, they will be picked up and brought to the CRC retreat.
- Naming Convention (single Poster): projectnumber.pdf (example: z2.pdf)
- Naming Convention (different posters, but same project _part_(a,b,c ...)): projectnumber_part_X.pdf (example: z2_part_a.pdf)
If you choose not to use the print service, please organize the print of your poster individually and bring it to the retreat with you.
